Optional Workshop 1: Hands-on with Celonis Process Mining

This hands-on workshopwill bridge the gap between traditional auditing and the cutting-edge of process intelligence. You will learn how Celonis Process Mining moves beyond mere compliance to enable proactive, data-driven internal Kristina Kaldon controls and continuous monitoring. We will demonstrate how Celonis leverages the Process Intelligence Graph and breakthrough Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) to provide the foundational data and context needed for enterprise AI, including solutions like Process Adherence Manager (Conformance), Process Copilots,and the Annotation Builder. This session aims to equip your students with the practical, highly-demanded skills needed for the future of digital assurance and consulting by incorporating these industry-leading tools and real-world scenarios into your curriculum.

Optional Workshop 2: Alteryx Workshop:  From Cloud to Desktop

Presenters: Ann Dzuranin, Northern Illinois University and Lorraine Lee, University of North Carolina at Wilmington
 

Participants will begin in Alteryx Cloud, learning foundational data preparation tools and workflow best practices, before advancing to predictive analytics techniques in Alteryx Desktop. The session emphasizes practical classroom implementation, including resource discovery, onboarding students, and identifying high-impact curricular use cases in AIS, audit, managerial, and financial accounting.
